
TAFT ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF KEVIN C. MCDONOUGH
TO THE BUTLER COUNTY AREA II COURT
COLUMBUS (January 2, 2007) - Governor Bob Taft today announced the appointment of Kevin C. McDonough to the Butler County Area II Court.
Kevin C. McDonough, from Cincinnati, was appointed to the Butler County Area II Court for a term beginning January 5, 2007, replacing J.B. Connaughton, who resigned.
Mr. McDonough is currently an Acting Judge for the Butler County Area Courts, a Partner with the Law Firm of Cohen, Todd, Kite & Stanford, LLC, a Solicitor and Prosecuting Attorney for the Village of Maineville, a Magistrate for the Cities of Reading and Silverton and an Assistant Law Director and Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Deer Park. He also serves as a Substitute Magistrate for the Cities and Villages of Amberley, Amelia, Fairfax, Loveland, Lockland, North College Hill and Wyoming.
Mr. McDonough has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Xavier University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati.
