TAFT ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF RICHARD A. BERNAT
TO THE HAMILTON COUNTY MUNICIPAL COURT, DISTRICT 6
COLUMBUS (December 19, 2006) - Governor Bob Taft today announced the appointment of Richard A. Bernat to the Hamilton County Municipal Court, District 6.
Richard A. Bernat, from Cincinnati, was appointed to the Hamilton County Municipal Court, District 6 for a term beginning December 21, 2006, replacing Elizabeth Mattingly, who resigned.
Mr. Bernat is currently the chief magistrate of the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas and was previously in private practice.
Mr. Bernat also served on the Northwest Board of Education, the Hamilton County Board of Zoning Appeals and was a member the Greenhills Forest Kiwanis Club.
Mr. Bernat has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor degree from Chase College of Law.
