
TAFT ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF ANTHONY W. BROCK
TO THE CLERMONT COUNTY MUNICIPAL COURT
COLUMBUS (December 19, 2006) - Governor Bob Taft today announced the appointment of Anthony W. Brock to the Clermont County Municipal Court.
Anthony W. Brock, from Cincinnati, was appointed to the Clermont County Municipal Court for a term beginning January 3, 2007, replacing Victor Haddad, who won election to the Common Pleas bench.
Mr. Brock is currently the assistant prosecuting attorney in the Felony Division of the Clermont County Prosecutor's Office as well as a legal instructor at the University of Cincinnati, Clermont College Police Academy. He was previously an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Municipal Division of the Clermont County Prosecutor's Office.
Mr. Brock is currently a member of the Clermont County Local Community Corrections Advisory Board, the Treatment Alternatives to Street Crime (T.A.S.C.) Advisory Board, and a judge and legal advisory for the Ohio Mock Trial Competition.
Mr. Brock has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Business from Xavier University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
