TAFT ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF ELIZABETH B.
MATTINGLY TO THE HAMILTON COUNTY COURT OF
DOMESTIC RELATIONS

COLUMBUS (December 19, 2006) - Governor Bob Taft today announced the appointment of Elizabeth B. Mattingly to the Hamilton County Court of Domestic Relations.

Elizabeth B. Mattingly, from Cincinnati, was appointed to the Hamilton County Court of Domestic Relations for a term beginning December 20, 2006, replacing Penelope Cunningham, who resigned.

Judge Mattingly is currently a Judge on the Hamilton County Municipal Court and was previously an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio.

Judge Mattingly is currently a member of the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Cincinnati, an Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 420 and member of the Dan Beard Council of Boy Scouts Strategic Plan Sub-Committee. She was formerly a member of the Steering Committee of Leadership Cincinnati and a Trustee of the Catholic Social Service of Southwest Ohio.

Judge Mattingly has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Canisius College and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
