COLUMBUS (Dec. 21, 2001) — Governor Bob Taft today announced an appointment for the Richland County Probate Court Judge. Robert L. Konstam, from Mansfield, was appointed as Judge to the Richland County Probate Court for a term beginning Dec. 31, 2001. Mr. Konstam replaces Judge Richard Christensen, who passed away. Mr. Konstam is director of law for the City of Mansfield. He started out as an associate/partner in the law firm of Sauter & Hohenberger, when he left to become an assistant prosecutor for Richland County for nine years. He was staff attorney for Richland County CSEA, and then was elected as director of law for the City of Mansfield, where he has served for the past 12 years. Mr. Konstam received his B.S. degree from Ashland College and his J.D. degree from Ohio Northern University.
