
TAFT ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF PATRICK N. HARRIS AS FAIRFIELD COUNTY MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE
COLUMBUS (November 26, 2003) - Governor Bob Taft today announced an appointment to the Fairfield County Municipal Court.
Patrick N. Harris, from Lancaster, was appointed Judge to the Fairfield County Municipal Court, for a term beginning December 1, 2003. Harris is replacing Judge Don McAuliffe, who was removed.
Harris is currently the county administrator for the Fairfield County Commissioners' Office. Previously he was an assistant county prosecutor for the Fairfield County Prosecutor's Office and a city prosecutor for the Lancaster City Prosecutor's Office.
Harris is vice-chairman of the Community Corrections Board, President of the U.S. 33 Regional Growth Alliance, member of the Ohio State and Fairfield County Bar Associations, member of Ohio County Administrator's Association and member of the Ohio City/County Managers' Association.
Harris received his B.S. from Bowling Green State University and his Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University College of Law.
