TAFT ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF LYNN SCHAEFER AS
LUCAS COUNTY COMMON PLEAS COURT, JUVENILE DIVISION JUDGE
COLUMBUS (December 26, 2003) - Governor Bob Taft today announced an appointment to the Lucas County Common Pleas Court, Juvenile Division.
Lynn Schaefer, from Toledo, was appointed Judge to the Juvenile Court effective January 1, 2004 to fill the vacancy created by the passing of the late Judge Joseph Flores.
Schaefer is currently the chief administrative hearing officer for the Lucas County Child Support Enforcement Agency. Previously she was an instructor and counselor at the University of Toledo and chief trial referee for the Lucas County Common Pleas Court, Domestic Relations Division.
Schaefer is a trustee for the Lucas County Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services Board and former trustee of the Lakeside Association Chautauqua Board.
Schaefer received her B.A. from Denison University and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law.
