24/7 Initiative LifeStat: The 24/7 Initiative - The Patrol's Strategic Goal: to lower the Ohio crash fatality rate by 10 percent by the end of 2011.
Share the Road Safely Share the Road Safely - viewed by motorists throughout Ohio on three commercial trucks as part of a statewide campaign to remind both car and truck drivers to share Ohio roadways safely.

Patrol Trademark Licensing Program - The Ohio State Highway Patrol insignia/logo is a registered trademark/servicemark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Ace Award Blue Max auto larceny enforcement program - An incentive recognition system which rewards troopers who recover stolen vehicles with on-the-spot suspect apprehension.
Problem Site Identification Problem Site Identification - Involves gathering intelligence to operate specific enforcement applications in peak target areas.
OVI Checkpoint
Sobriety Checkpoints - program with deterrent effect on drinking drivers or potential drinking drivers.
Patrol Partnership Programs
Local Marketing - The Patrol's posts working within their communities to promote traffic safety though various initiatives.

Move Over, Slow Down Law - State law requires motorists to move over or slow down when approaching emergency vehicles with their lights activated.

Ohio Quick Clear - Focused on safety, time savings, reducing traffic congestion caused by motor vehicle crashes and other highway incidents, and homeland security.
Edheads
Edheads Crash Scene Investigation - The Patrol has partnered with the educational company Edheads to create a Web-based, animated presentation to teach middle and high school students the principals of what happens in a crash and how crashes are investigated.
RideSmart
Ride Smart. Drive Smart., a partnership between the Patrol and the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) themes to help motorcyclists and other drivers share the road safely: Get Trained (including knowing proper safety gear to wear)/Get Licensed; Stay Sober (incorporating the AMA’s national Ride Straight program); and Other vehicle drivers, be aware by looking out for motorcyclists.
Partners for Safety - blends statewide corporate partnerships with innovative initiatives at the local level.
OhioSafe Commute - Program designed to make Safe Commutethe rush-hour commute safer and easier for drivers in Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati.
